Resist The Devil
Resist the devil and he will flee - James 4:7
Today’s verse of the day on Bible Gateway is 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 NKJV “do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.”
I have been down the path of dealing with guilt from wrong thinking and lust but to God be the Glory He led me to His Word that declares my freedom from guilt and torment sent from the enemy (1 Peter 3:18).
God is serious about us being in right standing with Him. He is a faithful and loving Father yet just like a true Father He also corrects not to condemn (Romans 8:1) but to convict us when we are going down the wrong path, to bring us back to Him. Trust that God’s plan for you is good! (Jeremiah 29:11)
Do not allow condemnation access, God does not condemn us for wrongdoings He convicts (prove to be guilty) to get His children back in line with Him. God is love and He sent His Only Son Jesus Christ to free us from our sins. He also loves us too much to allow us to remain the same, our freedom is bought with a price. Once we truly repent and turn from our evil ways His word says that He will hear us from Heaven and heal our land (2 Chronicles 7:14)
He has great blessings in store for you that He does not want you to miss out on so thank Him for His correction to lead and guide you down the right path. Jesus loves you way too much for you to remain in sin, be free today in Jesus Holy name!
